These tubs are lighter, stronger and easier to install than a cast iron tub. A cast iron tub requires more floor support, more labor to install and is more expensive to transport.

Better heat retention
Acrylic's natural warmth and the thickness of these tubs combine to preserve heat much longer than a cast iron tub.

AcraStone - a durable material that is stronger than cast iron
These tubs are made of a proprietary product, AcraStone, a material so strong it can withstand blows from a sledge hammer without cracking or denting. No other tub in the industry can beat AcraStone's strength, not even a cast iron tub. (see more info below)

Double shell, high-glass shine
These tubs are made with TWO sheets of reinforced acrylic bonded together by a stone/resin compound. Each tub has an inner and outer shell with an unmatched high-gloss shine inside and out.

Thick polishable acrylic surface
These tubs are 1/2" thick or thicker depending on the style of the tub. The high-gloss surface material is 1/4" thick and can be buffed over and over again to repair scratches, or simply to restore the shine.
